Dan Pyne has been named to the U.S. Ice Hockey Team that will compete in the World University Games in Turkey. Pyne, a standout goalie on the Drexel Men's Hockey Club Team, will travel with the rest of the U.S. Team to compete from Jan. 27-Feb. 6. The U.S. team is comprised of players from collegiate ice hockey teams affiliated with the American Collegiate Hockey Association. Pyne, a Warrington, Pa. native, is just one of two goalkeepers on the team. Richmond, Va. – Drexel University had 861 actual donors, which resulted in 859 productive units of blood collected as the Dragons won the annual Colonial Athletic Association Blood Challenge for the fourth consecutive year. The women will travel down 33rd street to participate in the Cissie Leary Memorial Tournament hosted by Penn. Drexel's men's team will play in the innaugural Saint Joseph's Invitational on the campus of Saint Joseph's University.
