Steele Stanwick had a pair of goals and five assists to lead Virginia. He finished the year with 51 assists, making him the second Cavalier in program history to reach the 50-assist milestone.
In the second game of the day, Duke's Robert Rotanz scored a career-high five goals for the No. 3 Blue Devils, including three as part of a 13-0 run as Duke cruised to a 17-6 win over No. 9 Colgate. The Blue Devils (15-4) scored 15 of the game's final 17 goals. Duke now advances to face Maryland in the semifinals. It will mark the sixth-straight appearance in the semifinals for the Blue Devils, who took the NCAA title in 2010.
Drexel will host the 2013 NCAA Lacrosse Championships over Memorial Day weekend. The Division I, II and III national champions will be crowned over that weekend.
