Ambler and Manos Named to Preseason All-CAA Team

Philadelphia - Senior Colin Ambler and sophomore Mark Manos were selected to the 2010 Preseason All-CAA Men's Lacrosse Team. Ambler made the All-Conference squad on attack while Manos is the lone goalkeeper on the team. The Preseason All-CAA Men's Lacrosse Team was select by vote by the six league coaches.
Ambler led the Dragons in almost every offensive category last season. As a junior he scored 21 goals, handed out 16 assists and had 37 points. He has scored at least 20 goals in each of his first three seasons at Drexel and is now 12th on the school's career assist list. He was a First Team All-CAA pick in 2009.
Manos, the reigning CAA Rookie of the Year, emerged as Drexel's starter in goal as a freshman. He started every game and finished the season with an 8.36 goals against average. Manos, who was also named Second Team All-CAA as a freshman, led the league in save percentage at .595 and was named the CAA's Rookie of the Week on four occasions.
Drexel opens its 2010 season on Feb. 20 as the Dragons host Virginia at Vidas Field.
