Men's Tennis Drops First Dual Match of the Season, 6-1, at Penn

Philadelphia - In its first dual match competition of the spring season, Drexel men's tennis fell to University City rival Penn 6-1. Sophomore Bryan Nguyen won the Dragons' sole match of the contest in a three-setter at fifth singles.
Nguyen battled back from a 6-4 loss in the second set after closing out a 6-3 win in the opener. He put the finishing touches on his fourth dual match win of the season with a 7-5 triumph in the third set of the match.
Rookie Nikoloz Kurdadze gave Penn's Eugen Brazdil all he could handle at second singles before falling 7-5, 7-5 in straight sets. Penn swept doubles play in three closely contested matches to earn the team point.
The Dragons are back in action next Saturday, when they travel to play at St. John's in a 12:00 p.m. match in New York.
