Men's Tennis Opens Spring Schedule at Penn on Saturday

Philadelphia - Drexel men's tennis will commence its spring 2010 slate of matches with a 11:00 a.m. contest against Penn on Saturday, Jan. 23. The Dragons will travel down 33rd Street to participate in a dual match with the Quakers at Penn's Levy Tennis Pavilion.
The Drexel men were a perfect 3-0 in dual match play during the fall season with victories over Delaware State, St. Francis (N.Y.) and Rider. Rookie Nikoloz Kurdadze led the team with an 8-5 record in singles play this fall. He was a perfect 3-0 in matchplay at second singles and 5-5 in tournaments.
On the doubles side, Jason Savage-Pollock teamed with Kurdadze to turn in a 3-3 overall mark, including a strong performance at the Old Dominion Collegiate Invitational.
