Main Draw Set For Wilson/ITA Northeast Regional Tournament
New Haven, Conn. - Gozde Unkaya and Emma Brook will take the courts at Yale on Saturday at the ITA/Wilson Northeast Regional Tournament in the main singles and doubles brackets. Brook lost her match in qualifying on Friday but will team up with Unkaya in main draw doubles competition.
The day begins when Brook and Unkaya face Harvard's Samantha Grindley and Alexandra Lehman at 9:00 a.m. in doubles play. Gozde Unkaya will begin her journey in the main draw singles bracket when she takes on Susan Ma of Albany at 5:00 p.m.
Brook was downed by Pam Emery of Rhode Island 6-2, 6-3 after earning a first round bye in the singles qualifying tournament on Friday.
