Philadelphia - Drexel women's tennis lost its first match of the season in a tight 5-2 dual contest against Delaware State. The team finished its fall dual match schedule with a 3-1 record as it heads to the ITA Northeast Regional at Yale to round out its fall season.  Gozde Unkaya gave the Dragons their only win in singles play. But Drexel's doubles took two of three matches to earn a second team point.

Unkaya stepped into the first singles position vacated by an injured Zineb Hilali and acquitted her self quite well with a 6-0, 6-0 blanking of Marina Sisic. Anahita Jagtiani and Elise Leizerovich lost tough matches at third and fourth singles, which helped swing the match in favor of Delaware State.

Unkaya and Emma Brook teamed up for an 8-1 win over Cristina Andrade and Marina Sisic at first doubles. And Leizerovich and Jagtiani topped Cassandra Newton and Hannah Adewumi at second doubles.
