Three Dragons Named to Women's Lacrosse All-CAA Team

Philadelphia, Pa. -The Colonial Athletic Association named Drexel's Kerry Kelly (Roseland, N.J./West Essex), Lauren LaBella (Massapequa Park, N.Y./Massapequa) and Emily Hoesch (Aston, Pa./Sun Valley) to its all-conference teams. Kelly and LaBella were each picked as First Team All-CAA selections while Hoesch was a Second Team All-CAA pick.
Kelly led the conference in assists per game and points per game as the senior midfielder broke the Drexel school record for assists and points in a season. Her 33 assists and 76 points also ranked among the top 20 nationally in Division I.
LaBella led the league in goals against average and save percentage for the second straight season. Her 7.35 goals against average and .551 save percentage were fourth in nation. The sophomore goalie tied a school mark with 12 victories in the cage for the Dragons. She was a Second Team All-CAA pick last season.
Hoesch, Drexel's all-time leader in goals and points, led the Dragons with 49 goals in 2007. The midfielder also totaled 18 assists on the season. Hoesch was named all-conference in her final three seasons at Drexel.
