Elegar Signs to Play Professional Basketball in Germany

Philadelphia, Pa.—Drexel’s Frank Elegar has signed a contract to play in Germany this upcoming season. Elegar will play in the Bundesliga, Germany’s top professional basketball league, for Bremerhaven. The 6-foot-9 center was a two-time All-Colonial Athletic Association selection at Drexel and averaged 14.0 points and 8.0 rebounds per game as a senior. He finished his career 15th on the Dragons’ all-time scoring list with 1,285 and 15th in rebounding with 676.
